Death announcement -Teresia Mumbi Boro
It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of our beloved mum, Teresiah Mumbi Boro after a short illness. The late Teresiah Mumbi was the wife of the late Isaac Boro Gichogu. Mum to Jane Murugi Nganga (Mum Sharon) and mum in law to Leonard Nganga Kamau (Baba Sharon) from Coventry, UK. She is mum, grandmother and great grandmother to many, all of them from Kenya.
Burial service will be held on Wednesday, 20/01/16 at her home in Bathi (Lari) in Limuru. Friends and family are meeting at Baba and Mama Sharon's house at 10 Eskdale Walk, Coventry, CV3 3BJ in the evening 6pm to 8pm. Meetings will end on Saturday evening as the couple will be travelling for the funeral. Your presence, support and prayers is much appreciated.

Death announcement -Mark Kimotho
We regret to announce the untimely death of our brother Mark “Nihee” Kimotho which occurred on Sunday January 10, 2016 in Richmond, VA. Mark is the son of Agatha Karuri , brother to Nick & Kandie Maina Gachagua , Colletta Gachagua ( all of Richmond , Va ), and Mike & Betty Gachagua of Nairobi Kenya .
Friends and family are meeting every evening at 2811 Hilliard Rd. Apt D, Henrico, VA 23228 for prayers. We are in the process of finalizing funeral arrangements, including the date for the funeral and burial. We will have a fundraising to assist with funeral costs this Sunday Jan 17, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.

Death announcement -George Mbugua
It is with regret that we let you know that a Kenyan brother George Mbugua went to be with Lord last night after a long illness. Please remember this family in prayer as they just lost a daughter less than a month ago. There will be a prayer service held at the late George’s resident every evening between 7:00PM to 9:00PM at 200 Wellesley Street East, Toronto Ontario, M4X 1G3. The apartment is 2914.
There will be a Prayer Service for the late George held on Sunday January 17th 2015 from 2:00PM to 3:30PM at Kenyan Global Church located at 1900 Davenport Road Toronto, Ontario M6N 1B7. We shall be collecting envelops from anyone who would like to assist the family with cash donations for funeral expenses after the service.
The ladies in the committee suggested I mention that if you are blessed enough and can bring a snack to be share after the service that would be welcome. Death announcement-Mr Peter Wambua
A Kenyan man who has lived in the United States for 39 years has passed on. (family hasn’t seen him since 1976). Mr Peter Wambua died at an Austin, Texas hospital on December 29, 2015 where he had been undergoing treatment after suffering five major heart attacks. Mr Wambua was born and raised in Tala, Kangundo and came to the USA in 1976 through a Catholic mission. He intially live in Wisconsin and attended college at the University of Wisconsin. He later on moved to Louisiana where he was later displaced by Hurricane Katrina and eventually relocated to Austin.
After moving to Austin, he suffered his first massive stroke which left him paralyzed. He later suffered four more massive strokes. In the course of his treatment from the effects of the stroke, he also suffered from kidney failure. He has been ailing and undergoing treatment and therapy for the last ten years till his death last week. He did not have any relatives or known acquaintances in the Austin area and well wishers who happened to stumble upon him at the hospital by chance are trying to organize for his return back home to his mother. A Kenyan living in Austin has been in touch with his mother and she has expressed her wish to have her son laid to rest next to his younger brother and sister in Kangundo.
Kenyans and all well-wishers are being requested to assist in order for his mum to receive his body back home. The hospital has stated that family and friends have 30 days to claim the body or he will be cremated.
